National Futsal coach Faruk Ismael guarantees victory against Zambia this Saturday. The match is part of the first qualifying round for the sport’s CAN, the final stage of which will be held in Morocco.

Mozambique’s national team will be looking to take an important step towards CAN 2024, the final stage of which will be held in Morocco. To get there, they need to beat Zambia, first by winning Saturday’s match at the Eduardo Mondlane University pavilion, and then by looking ahead to the second round in Zambia.

Faruk “Farukito” Ismael says that the national team is properly prepared for the game against Zambia, a match which, as he said, only victory matters. The coach believes that for this to happen, his players need to be focused.

For their part, the players are aware of the importance of this qualifier, so they guarantee that they are focused on achieving a good result.

Despite playing away, the Zambians promise to face the match with an open heart. Zambia’s coach, Witson Nyirenda, recognizes the quality of the Mozambican team which, in his opinion, has experienced players who have played at the highest level on the African continent.

Even so, the young coach says that his team will take the match very seriously and that, above all, his players will enjoy themselves.
